peter kruder is one of those emblematic names that lead a whole decade and inspire myriads of djs, producers and clubbers all over the world. while he enjoys unprecedented success with kruder & dorfmeister and crossed into the platinum range (selling 1 million copies of the k&d sessions album), he never lost track of the underground. probably his stellar career would never have happened exactly this way if there wasn’t the other kruder: the adventurous dj, the deep producer, the challenging a&r at g-stone, the producer behind dj hell’s highly acclaimed “teufelswerk” album. in 15 years peter kruder has done only 3 singles under his own name though. when you get your ears around “chordal” and “law of return” it becomes totally clear why this rare outing happens on macro. kruder meets his macro debut full on modernism - showcasing his deep, dark, dancefloor grounded side. with a crisp harmonic sequence reminiscent of tchaikovsky’s nutcracker suite, “chordal” hijacks brains on the dancefloor with its vacuum depth and sizzling details. “law of return” on the other side is a kruder signature take on deepness - solemn chords wrapped around a hypnotic groove give you tears of joy. a masterpiece!

iggor cavalera is recognized throughout the world as a master drummer and former member of none other than brazilian heavy-metal band sepultura. however, he is as much familiar with turntables and mpcs and he is with a drum kit, taking his credo of hard beat beat and applying it to other projects. as mixhell, he and his wife, laima leyton, combine dancefloor and hard rock sensibilities for dj sets and their productions (just check their great remix for clp, previously on boysnoize records, which is a mix of brasilian baily and rave) for this release bnr bring back young star brodinski, who did his first remix ever for d.i.m. back in 2007 on bnr. he has made a name out there with great productions (turbo, mental groove) and remixes (radioclit, ed banger, bonde du role), supported by a wide range of djs like sven väth, laurent garnier, erol alkan and the ed bangers - to name a few. he has touched mixhells song “highly explicit” and made it to the perfect spring house hymne. he took the balearic elements of the original combined with a classic house arrangement and when it comes to the massiv break the track reveals a clear message: this is a hit. a must for every house or techno dj in the upcoming spring and summer season

although jaxson and keno both have successful solo projects and have previously worked together before, this collaboration is bound to be their most notable release yet. a fusion of house, funk, latin and techno, all meet at the crossroads of their studios for a 4 track ep of sundry beats and fresh flavors. clearly the a-side, >tout le temps< is comprised of a clever hook and a hazy latino vocal sample, which carries the initial groove right into an originally played synth section. a good example of a refreshing approach to adding effects and using sounds. >tarantella< as the title might suggest, one might expect a track that would scare the living day lights out of you, but it has more of a >creeping up from behind you< sort of vibe. a subtlety creeping groove subliminally enters your unconscious mind carrying a secret message. what is that message you ask? dance! the congas on, >red baron< sound so live you can almost here the players licking their fingers. congas might be the groove in the heart of this tune, but the melody of the slick synth stabs and rising strings are what ultimately breath energy and spunk into this roller. >karate kid< initially has a minimal feel, but once the hacked up guitar and vocals come in, you can put those dirty thoughts to rest. abundant with an overwhelming amount of unique and interesting sounds, secure this tunes ability to prick up the ears of finicky djs and clubbers alike. it is rare to find such a wide variation of sound design on your run of the mill ep, but kindisch has proved they are not an ordinary label. they are consistently releasing quality tunes and always providing pleasant surprises. some might say it is a clichÚ, but this ep really does have a bit of something that will drive one club or another nuts

eric prydz returns with undoutedly one of the biggest ever releases on his legendary pryda label. the a side - melo is recieving enormous plaudits from djs across the board. not surprising really, considering its enormous chords, pads and massively uplifting feel. this track is a trulystunning piece building pefectly from start to finish with its nagging bassline perfectly complimenting the melodies

first release for this new italian label, who claim to bring techno back to its top level. we re inclined to agree with those sentiments, as are the others who have received promos of the release. the a side consists of two deep and dark techno tracks, that should also find favour with more minimal djs. they are apparently by a popular northern european artist, going under the guise of ????. the label has kept such a secret that we dont even know who it is. on the b side, we have a soz adams (esperanza, archipel, gumption) remix of label head obtane and fris, which is a retro chicago style excursion, and german duo sebastian herre and obscure close the ep with a more detroit techno inspired track.
